I’m familiar with the story.
You make a really cool, exciting change behind the scenes to make people’s lives easier (especially your own). The downside is, it breaks something your users are used to but in the end they won’t miss. There is mass complaining in the beginning, hand wringing of supervisors and bosses and normal people wanting it to “just go back to the old way” even though you’re trying to convince them the new way is not only better but the way things probably should have been all along.
Trust me, I get it.
Take a breath, folks.
Yes, all the whitespace is blinding and things don’t work exactly as they used to. Some of this can be fixed and the rest we’ll get used to, or the incredibly smart tech team behind DK will fix it/improve it/make it better.
As the book says: DON’T PANIC.
